Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips
Preheat the air fryer to 360ºF and set for 22 minutes.
Air fryer sweet potato chips. Crunchy and sweet with just a hint of salt these air fried. Repeat the process for the remaining chips. If they look golden brown then they are done.
Cut the sweet potato into ⅛-¼-inch 3- to 6-mm slices. Place them onto a clean paper towel and pat them so they become nice and dry. When the Air Fryer is hot place the sweet potato chips in a single layer on the tray and adjust the temperature to 350 degrees.
Peel and wash sweet potato. Open and shake the basket to move the chips around. Lightly coat air-fryer basket with cooking spray.
Cook at 350 degrees F until cooked through and crispy about 15 minutes flipping and rearranging into a single layer every 5 minutes. Repeat with air frying the remaining sweet potato. You can easily adjust the quantities of chili powder paprika cayenne to suit your tastes.
2 medium sweet potatoes sliced very thin with a sharp knife or mandoline food slicer. Making homemade sweet potato chips in the air fryer is a win-win. Season the sweet potato.
Drain potatoes in a colander and dry well with paper towels. Allow to cook remaining time. Preheat Air Fryer to 350F 180C.
