Brisket Crock Pot Recipe
Place all ingredients in crock pot.
Brisket crock pot recipe. Once ready to cook thaw for 36-48 hours in the refrigerator. In a small bowl combine the soup mix sugar salt and pepper. Sprinkle the onion soup mix garlic powder and brown sugar over the top of the brisket and massage gently into the meat.
Season to taste with salt and freshly. Serve with the vegetables and some of the cooking liquid as a gravy. Place the brisket in the crock pot.
Baste the meat with the juices and allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes. Prepare the rub and coat the brisket in the rub.
Sprinkle the minced garlic over the brisket and top with the sliced onions on and around it. In a medium bowl whisk together the broth soy sauce and ketchup. Place the brisket in the crock pot.
Carefully remove foil packet from slow cooker and unwrap meat. Cook for 10 hours on LOW. Remove the brisket after cooking and place on a cutting board.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until the meat is very tender. Pour the chili sauce over the top covering the meat completely.
